Get detailed stats about traffic flow on the main road

You can count all the passing-by vehicles from distance. Point your IP-camera in the direction of the road, so that at least a small part of the main road gets into the field of view. AI algorithms of RD analytics can recognize and classify vehicles from a wide range of vantage points as well as work with low resolution sources. Learn more about RD Analytics accuracy »
The detailed statistics will help your business learn the dynamics of the main traffic flow on your road segments and compare it with the number of your actual clients.

Client vehicle details: class, car brand and model

Use your existing IP-cameras to collect details about the vehicles that visit your gas station. The system can recognize 12+ classes of the vehicles, such as motorbike, cars, vans, small/medium/long trucks, special vehicles and others.
You can get further details with the cars brand and model recognition. For example, you can build a chart showing you the share of Mercedes and BMW cars and the dynamics of this percentage.

Client vehicle details: time spent at the dispenser

As soon as a vehicle stops at the fuel dispenser pump the camera detects it and sets the timer. It will measure the time from the moment when a vehicle arrives until it leaves the pump. RD Analytics saves this data together with other details about this particular vehicle.
Having such data in your system, you can see what is the throughput of each of your petrol pumps hour by hour. You can build such reports for each of vehicle class individually or compare the values from different gas stations.

Client vehicle details: LPR

The same cameras can recognize license plates (ANPR) of your visitors and put this information to the same database. This information not just helps you improve your security, but also allows you learning the share of new-vs-returning visitors and their visiting frequency.

Analyze queue length

You can use an entrance overview camera to let RD Analytics analyse vehicles queue. The system detects all the waiting vehicles along each the entrance lanes and record the length of the queues to each of your fuel dispenser pumps.
RD Analytics either maps the values on a timeline chart, or lets you export the raw values in the form of a spreadsheet.

Watch parking spots occupation

If your gas station has a convenience store with a parking area, RD Analytics can help you analyze how many free parking lots you have at each moment of time. The information gets recorded constantly so that you can see the dynamics, how the percentage of free/occupied spaces changes over time and analyze if you have enough parking space at the gas station with the real numbers at hand.

Install the software on your servers

In order to run video analysis, you need a standard PC or an Embedded PC with GPU. Install RD Analytics software on your computer, connect new or existing CCTV cameras - and you’re ready to go.
RD Analytics is a server software, which means that it runs constantly in background and the users connect it remotely from their desktop computers using a browser.

Link all your petrol stations together

RD Analytics is a highly scalable network platform. Install video processing servers at your petrol stations, and they will be working offline completely autonomously. As soon as you have a network connection between your petrol stations, install RD Manager at your central office and control all your stations remotely, update configurations and compose integrated reports that will include data from all your locations at the same time.
You can keep on connecting remote servers to your central RD Manager till you have a centralized country-wide system. Learn more about the architecture of RD Analytics »

Integration friendly: use realtime connectors and API

RD Analytics stores data in its own database. However, it also offers a number of ready-to-use integration options. You can set up a connection to your DB tables and let the recognition system save data to your DB directly and in real-time. Or you can configure webhooks and RD Analytics will be passing information to your web-service automatically.
You can use our standard API to retrieve data from RD Analytics on-demand. Check the documentation »

Your data stays with you

RD Analytics is 100% autonomous and doesn’t require an Internet connection. The recognition runs on your computers within your LAN or can be deployed in your cloud infrastructure. In the both cases you have 100% control of your data.
