Edit layout and add widgets¶
Goal: Change report layout, add widgets, and configure appearance and query settings.
Requires: Scan selected for schema-driven query fields.
Enter via Actions → Edit on the view page.
Edit mode toolbar¶

Tooltip when Add disabled: Select a scan to load widget schema.
Grid editing¶
- Drag and resize widgets on a 12-column grid.
- Per widget header: Edit (pencil), Remove (trash) — remove confirms delete.
Add a widget¶
- Select Add widget.
- Pick a type (for example Table, Line chart, Filters).
- Widget appears on grid — open Edit to configure.
If catalog empty: No widget types available.

Title: Edit widget. Cancel / OK.
Type¶
Read-only — widget kind name (cannot change after add).
Query tab¶
Dynamic fields from server schema for selected scan:
- Booleans, integers, selects, multi-selects, strings
- Examples: Query, Interval (minutes), Row limit, Class group, line selectors
Empty: No query parameters for this widget type.

Save layout¶
Save merges toolbar time range and live filter values into persisted defaultState and writes the full view to the server.
